Boiler (Heating and/or Water)

What make/model of boiler do you have?
What kind of boiler do you have (e.g. Heat only, Condensing, System etc)
Is the pressure between 1 and 1.5 bar (click here to find out how to check and fill it up)
Is there an interruption to the supply (if you have a gas cooker or fire then check if they are working)



Plumbing (water) and Drains

Is there a danger to property e.g. leak to ceiling or floor?
Is there water leaking now?
Do you know how to turn off the main water supply?
Do you know if there is a way to turn off the local supply e.g. isolators?

Electrics

At your consumer unit / fuse board:

Do you have an old re-wirable fuse board or one with trip switches?
​​Is the main switch (usually a big red switch on your consumer unit) in the off position?
Are any circuit breakers or RCD switches in the off position? (

Is it specific circuit(s) that have been affected or is it an RCD (click here to see what this means)
Has plugging in an appliance (e.g. a kettle) caused the power to go off?
